Fawn Music is a soulful blend of folk and introspection. Rooted in Gaelic traditions from her upbringing on a hill sheep farm on Islay, Fawn weaves classical training with the raw beauty of folk, drawing inspiration from artists like Bon Iver and Daughter.
Fawn's journey led to a passion for understanding people and the healing power of music, inspiring her to become a Music Therapist. Through raw, honest expression Fawn found relief and release in writing this album, Dear Music. With her heart right on the end of her sleeve this music is now for you.
Emzae
Emzae has been writing regularly over the last few years, her demo projects amassed thousands of listeners online and early support from BBC Introducing. Stepping onto the live circuit, emzae began to hone a solo set which showcased her productions and multi-instrumental talent, earning her festival and support slots for the likes of Altered Images and LoneLady. Always maintaining a fierce independence, emzae writes, produces, plays and mixes her music. Her songs play around with the definition of pop, blurring sub-genres to create her own distinct sound, while her lyrics span themes including change, self-doubt, empowerment and social commentary.
